I was able to pick out key concepts and see how information was organized Question What questions did you ask as you were reading? What the difference between category and crowd? What was the difference was between primary and secondary groups? Read How did surveying and questioning help you read better? It helped me to focus on the main areas covered in the material I was reading. Recite How did you decide what parts of your reading you needed to recite? By answering the questions I had in the beginning before I read the material. Review How often do you plan to review? I would review it twice because it was only one page of material to cover. Wrap-up questions: How successful was the SQ3R process in helping you grasp the concepts in the section you selected? Will you use SQ3R in the future as a way to master the content in academic readings? I feel it was successful in helping me focus on the material and understand what I was reading. Also what was of value in the material I was reading. I absolutely intend on using this method in the future and plan on including it in my tools as I progress with my education, I hope it Just becomes instilled in me as instinct when I pick up material I need to study and understand as I move along in my courses.
